The Wyong District
The Wyong district lies on the west shore of Lake Tuggerah and extends westwards to the Sydney-Newcastle freeway. In 2024 there are approimately 16,700 people living in the district.
Transport
The main rail line from Newcastle to Syndey has a stop at Wyong Station in the central village and a stop at Tuggerah. The express train takes about 1 hour to Hornsby and 1:40 to Central.
The freeway is accessable at the Tuggerah interchange. Hornsby is 50 minutes drive, while central Sydney is about 1 hour 15 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.
